Terms of Use

By accessing or using frutjam.com (the "Site") or Cherry MCP (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or Service.

The Frutjam UI library itself is governed solely by the MIT License included with the package — not by these Terms. See Section 1.

1. The Library — MIT License (Free, No Restrictions)

The Frutjam UI library is open-source software released under the MIT License. You are completely free to use it in any project — personal, commercial, client work, or SaaS — with no need to agree to these Terms. The MIT License is the only governing document for the library.

You are free to use, copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute, sublicense, and/or sell copies of the Library, subject to the following condition:

The above copyright notice and this permission notice shall be included in all copies or substantial portions of the Software.

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NONINFRINGEMENT.

2. What Free Users Can Do

Free users of the Frutjam library and documentation site can:

  • Use all free components, blocks, themes, and docs in any project — commercial or personal
  • Copy and share code examples from the documentation in blog posts, tutorials, videos, or open-source projects
  • Install and use the library via npm without creating an account
  • Use Cherry MCP free tier with limited daily requests and no account required
  • Modify and redistribute the library under the MIT License

3. Paid Plans

Frutjam offers a free tier and three paid plans: Pro, Team, and Enterprise. Each plan grants access to premium components, page blocks, templates, and Cherry MCP as described on the pricing page at the time of purchase.

  • Paid plans are billed on a monthly or annual basis via Creem.io, our payment processor.
  • Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time.
  • We offer refunds on a case-by-case basis within 14 days of purchase if you are not satisfied. Contact us at hello@frutjam.com.
  • Plan access is granted to the purchasing individual or organisation and is non-transferable except via the seat management system for Team plans.
  • We reserve the right to change the features included in paid plans with reasonable prior notice.

4. License Keys and Seats

Upon purchase, a license key is issued to your email address. This key is used to authenticate the Cherry MCP server and access premium content.

  • Each seat corresponds to one developer and one license key.
  • Pro plans include 1 seat. Team plans include up to 10 seats managed by the subscription owner.
  • You must not share, resell, or redistribute your license key.
  • We reserve the right to revoke license keys used in violation of these Terms.

5. Cherry MCP Server

Cherry is an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server distributed via npm as frutjam-cherry. Use of Cherry is subject to these Terms and the license included in the npm package.

  • Free tier users may use Cherry with limited daily requests and no account required.
  • Pro and Team users access Cherry using their license key and registered email.
  • Cherry validates your license online on first use and periodically thereafter. An internet connection is required for validation.
  • We may update, modify, or deprecate Cherry features with reasonable notice.

6. Documentation and Site Content

Documentation, articles, and written content on this Site are provided for informational purposes only. We make no guarantees that the documentation is complete, accurate, or up to date at all times.

You are welcome to share code examples and snippets from the documentation in tutorials, blog posts, videos, or open-source projects with attribution. What is not permitted is wholesale commercial reproduction — copying large portions of the documentation to create a competing documentation site or product.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Site or Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site or its infrastructure
  • Redistribute, resell, or publicly share paid plan content (premium components, blocks, templates) or license keys without authorisation
  • Reverse-engineer or extract the underlying logic of Cherry MCP
  • Scrape the Site in a way that places unreasonable load on our servers
  • Use paid content, premium components, blocks, templates, or Cherry MCP as the basis for a product or service that directly competes with Frutjam — such as a UI component library, CSS framework, or component marketplace

Note: The MIT-licensed open-source library code is not subject to the competing product restriction above. MIT grants unrestricted use.

8. Intellectual Property

The Frutjam name, logo, and brand assets are the property of Frutjam / Nezanuha. The open-source library code is MIT licensed (see Section 1). Premium components, blocks, templates, and Cherry MCP are copyright Frutjam and may not be commercially redistributed without express written permission.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site, Library, and Service are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Frutjam shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site, Library, or Service.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site or Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be communicated via the Site or email where possible.
