Privacy Policy

Frutjam ("we", "us", or "our") operates frutjam.com (the "Site") and the Cherry MCP server (the "Service"). This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, how it is used, and your rights.

1. Data We Collect

a) Email address

We collect your email address in the following situations:

  • Account login — we send a magic link to your email to authenticate you. No password is stored.
  • Purchase — your email is collected by our payment processor (Creem.io) and used to deliver your license key and manage your subscription.
  • Contact form — if you submit a message via our contact form, your name and email are included in that message and sent to our support inbox. This data is not stored in our database.
  • Cherry MCP — your email is used alongside your license key to validate your plan entitlements.

b) Payment information

Payments are processed by Creem.io. We do not store your card number, billing address, or any raw payment data on our servers. Creem.io handles all payment processing and is subject to their own privacy policy.

c) Usage analytics

We use Google Analytics (via Google Tag Manager) to collect anonymous usage data, including:

  • Pages visited and time spent
  • Browser type, operating system, and device type
  • Approximate geographic region (country/city level)
  • Referring URLs

This data is aggregated and anonymised — we cannot identify individual users from it.

d) Technical data

Our servers automatically log IP addresses, request paths, and timestamps for security and abuse prevention (e.g. rate-limiting login attempts). These logs are retained for up to 30 days.

2. How We Use Your Data

  • Email — to authenticate you, deliver license keys, send subscription-related transactional emails, and respond to support enquiries. We do not send marketing emails.
  • Payment data — processed solely by Creem.io to complete your purchase and manage billing.
  • Analytics — to understand how the Site is used and improve it. Not used for advertising or shared with third parties for marketing.
  • Technical logs — for security, debugging, and rate-limiting only.

3. Cookies

We use the following cookies:

  • Session cookie — a secure, HTTP-only session cookie is set when you sign in to your account. It is cleared when you sign out or after your session expires.
  • Google Analytics cookies — set by Google Analytics to distinguish returning visitors and measure site usage. These are analytics-only cookies.

We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. You can opt out of Google Analytics at any time using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may process your data:

  • Creem.io — payment processing. Privacy policy.
  • Google Analytics / Google Tag Manager — anonymous usage tracking. Google Privacy Policy.
  • DigitalOcean — cloud hosting and database. Your data is stored on DigitalOcean infrastructure. Privacy policy.
  • Hostinger — transactional email delivery (magic links, license key emails). Privacy policy.

5. Data Retention

  • Email and license data — retained for the duration of your subscription and for a reasonable period thereafter for billing records.
  • Magic link tokens — expire after 15 minutes and are deleted immediately after use.
  • Contact form messages — delivered to our inbox and not stored in the database.
  • Google Analytics data — retained for 14 months by Google's default settings.
  • Server access logs — retained for up to 30 days.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights under applicable data protection laws (including GDPR for EEA residents, CCPA for California residents) including the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Object to or restrict processing of your data
  • Data portability

7. International Data Transfers

Frutjam is operated from the United Arab Emirates. Your data may be processed on servers located in the EU or US (DigitalOcean infrastructure). We ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place for any such transfers.

8. Children's Privacy

This Site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify active subscribers by email.
